Kul galenskap i Inferno

Okej, jag har inte läst Inferno av August Strindberg, så någon intrikat jämförelse mellan originalet och Fabian Göranssons seriebok August Strinbergs Inferno blir det inte. Och ärligt talat tror jag att originalet är rätt trist. Det går däremot inte att beskylla kopian för.

Göransons Inferno är en utmärkt genväg, ungefär som när högstadieläraren ville ha en bokrecension och alla kollade på filmen i stället. Inferno är en njutning att läsa. Oerhört vältecknad där mer klassiska serieuttryck blandas med fotografi-liknande miljöteckningar av Paris.

Det hela blandas med en härlig disrespekt för August Strinbergs person, hans bok och hans författarskap. Göranson skildrar den galna, löjlige och helt hispige Strindberg, utan en tanke på den respekt han brukar åtnjuta som ”Sveriges störste”. Det är befriande och inte minst stor komik.
